2. Being first in line for food and fighting for the best parking spot

3. Believing ‘serious face’ and being busy are important

4. Complaining about how tough their job is

5. Forgetting what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck

6. Believing if we fear them, we will work harder

Here’s 6 things we wish our leader’s would do more:

1. Smiling

2. Telling others about how much they like the members of our team

3. Treating everyone like we were volunteers instead of paid farm-hands responding to their demands.

4. Asking me for feedback about them – listening, thanking me and asking me again later

5. Being honest – no games about how they are doing me a favor telling me inside scoop.

6. Saying – “Will you do me a favor?” instead of “Hey, I need this right away!”

Simple changes and not small ones can make a huge difference in morale.
